Event
Joshua Divides the Land among the Tribes
When the war of conquest ends, Joshua divides the land west of the Jordan by lot; Caleb is 85 (Josh 14:7–10) and the land rests (Josh 21:43–45).
Tier 2: CFAH-1 Table 1 (Ussher-Jones baseline): 1444 BC (no CFAH anchor point for this event). Jordan (secondary display) never sets the sort.
Description
Judges-period record added from James B. Jordan's chronology (secondary display) with Ussher, Jones and, where available, CFAH-1 Table 1 dates for sorting. Jordan treats the judgeships as partly overlapping regional sequences (North / Centre / South) fitted to the 480 years of 1 Kgs 6:1 and the 300 years of Judg 11:26.

Jordan's 1991 list (BC 3:8) has an earlier year; see the second Jordan entry. Jordan is not consistent here: the same chapter, p. 44, says "the land was (sabbatically) divided in the 7th year, AM 2560", and Pentateuch commentary (No. 3) ch. 20 "The Conquest", p. 55: war of conquest "beginning in 2554 and ending in 2559"; 2560 "the first year of occupation" and first sabbath of the land. |

Text: "Caleb was 85 when the conquest of the land came to an end. This would be, then, the year A.M. 2559 ... the land was (sabbatically) divided in the 7th year, A.M. 2560." Disagreements & open questions
- Chronologies disagree BC years differ: 1450 BC (Jordan (compilation)); 1445 BC (Ussher); 1444 BC (CFAH-1 Table 1, Ussher-Jones).
- Chronologies disagree Anno Mundi figures differ: AM 2559 (Jordan); AM 2560 (Ussher, Jordan, Jordan (compilation)).
Flags are generated from the figures stored in the data. The master timeline still sorts by the CFAH-weighted sort year.
