AM 1698 | Jordan, "The Chronology of the Pentateuch (Part 3)," Biblical Chronology 6:5 (May 1994), §8 "The Table of Nations", table "An Hypothetical Chronology for the Table of Nations" (opens in a new tab) Jordan: "If we assume births every two years, and about 30 years between generations ... we can come up with an approximate series of dates" (hypothetical, not stated by Scripture). Name appears on a continuation line printed beneath this year row in the web text of the table (flattened layout); Jordan's spacing places it with that year. |
Disagreements & open questions
- Open question Place link is by name: OpenBible identifies the place named in later scripture (Isa.11.11, Jer.44.1), not the Gen 10 ancestor. Certainty: pathros very-high.
Flags are generated from the figures stored in the data. The master timeline still sorts by the CFAH-weighted sort year.
